This October marks the first anniversary since the removal of the four lower Klamath dams, and scientists, advocates and Tribes are celebrating dramatic ecological improvements for the Klamath River. Ongoing scientific monitoring, which started years prior to dam removal, has enabled the documentation of significant advances in water quality, water temperatures, and the rapid return of native salmon populations to previously blocked habitats.

TNAP is a grant funded program made to address food instabilities in Round Valley Tribal households and to bridge the gap between monthly food assistance programs. Provide prescribed fire training opportunities to fire practitioners while supporting management of cultural resources. This training will incorporate knowledge from the native tribes of Northern California and develop understanding about traditional and contemporary use of prescribed fire.
Due to declaring a state of emergency, the Round Valley Indian Tribes Tribal Council, at a duly called meeting on Monday April 17th, 2023, has decided to enforce the curfew for individuals who are 18 and younger, per law and order code Chapter 10 section 10.
